There will be a container gardening workshop in which each student will get their own potted plant to grow (and harvest your own food!).

The Birdhouse competition is open to anyone who wants to build their own birdhouse and submit it for voting. The winner will get bragging rights and featured on a plaque in the Science building for the next year. Submissions must be received by April 20th. *See Event Discussion for full details.*

The University of Maryland Extension SNAP-Ed program will be offering tastings and sharing recipes.

Environmental Science students will be showing demos of solar ovens and other projects.

Come out to learn, see the displays and demos, try out the hands-on activities, and have a lot of fun.

The Earth Day event is sponsored by the Allegany College of Maryland Student Emergency Support Committee/The Pantry, Student Government Association, and Environmental Science classes.
