Denim Day & Denim Day Pledge Signing, College Center
A day to wear denim as a show of your support for survivors of sexual assault. Stop by our table in the College Center to learn more and to sign the pledge. (Sponsored by SGA, Student Life & the Student Support Coordinator)
Arbor Day, Upper Parking Lot
We will have a brief history of Arbor Day, Presentation of Tree Campus Higher Education recognition, tree planting demo by DNR and the we will plant 14 trees.
12:00 PM - 3:30 PM Forestry Field Day
Open to prospective students of all ages, parents, and current students. Come learn about the program, the many career options, and participate in the hands-on activities.
12-12:10pm -- Meet in the Technology Building
12:10-1pm -- Campus Tour
1-1:40pm -- Knot Tying/Tree Climbing
1:40-2:20pm -- Dendrology Walk
2:20-3pm -- Pruning/Drone Flying
3-3:30pm--Wrap Up/Prizes
Refreshments will be provided. Students will be able to meet with Forest Technology professors, staff, and students. Those who attend can collect stamps for their participation in each activity for a chance to win prizes.
