On the custom module edit screen, go to the Options tab and make sure that Prepare Content is set to yes.

This is caused by having a different timezone setting in Joomla and connectDaily. To check the timezone in Joomla, go to Global Configuration | Server. In the location settings section, ensure the server timezone setting is correct.

In connectDaily, login as an administrator and choose System | Configuration | Time Input to set the time zone.

The plugin uses caching to maximize performance. You can temporarily disable caching by going to connectDaily's options page and using the Disable Caching option.
